It would appear to require a fairly fragile "stack" of PC/USB/COM hardware to work, and even then may not reach all subsystems. they'd probably get very upset if you tried to copy it. the "DAD" is still available under its correct name: CarSoft. The product shows support for the 2004-6 Pacifica which is really an MB R-class. It will be interesting to see what happens in the meantime. Almost sounds like it would be a direct connection from your PC/laptop to the OBDII connector on the Sprinter or it may require another special adapter cable. So this software package plus add-ons may not seem that expensive once it's released. The last version of DRB III software (Jan 2008) is available (which doesn't require a dealer subscription) online also. I found a site online that sells the multiplexor for $320 new and used Sprinter cards have been selling for under $100 online. ![]() Recent DRB III units have been selling for ~$3000 on eBay lately. "We are currently porting the Supercard 2 and then we will look at doing the Sprinter/Crossfire software packages.
